SUGGESTED EXCURSIONS
During this holiday we will love you to enjoy the island facets with some excursions guided by us
The roman road to La Mola and the artisan market
La Mola is the only hill in Formentera and the home of the small town called El Pilar de La Mola, well known by locals for having a weather and way of living different than the rest of the island. The roman road is a beautiful experience that connects with the pass of the island, when there were no other way to connect the little town with the rest of the island. The road climbs up 120 meters above sea level offering a very nice hike under the shadow of the trees and the best views of the island. Once we reach the top, we will have the bicycles ready to visit the town. El Pilar has two streets, a tiny church in front of the plaza, a nice lighthouse, and one of the best-known artisans markets on the island.
This is a easy hiking experience of 50min one way up, add 20 min walk to the artisan market, time to stroll around town and come back.
Bicycle ride to Cap de Barbaria
You will enjoy very much to bike along from San Ferran to the most incredible cliffs and lighthouse in Cap de Barbaria, crossing the fields, feeling the sun, wind, and breath to focus on the present moment as a form of meditation. This excursion it’s approximately a 45min easy-going bicycle ride for one way, count a total of 90min for a round trip and add a good hour to enjoy the superb views.
